How does your attachment style affect our ability to recognise and express our emotions accurately? Join us as we examine the links between attachment styles and emotional expression, and consider why this is vital to our responsiveness when working with children and young people.

Louise Pitt
“The Importance of Collaborative Working and its power for children”

Where are we dropping the ball with identification of mental health needs and referrals? Join us as we explore the power of collaborative working to improve children’s outcomes. Taking into consideration the strategies and resources that can be drawn on to support young people. 

Nicky is the founder of Dandelion Training and Development and the Author of the Adventures of Brian Children’s Books. She has committed 25 years of her career to working with children and young people through the early years, education, health improvement teams, as an Ofsted Inspector and latterly the last ten years as a child and adolescent mental health coach and therapist. She works with her therapy dog, Brian in their joint passion for the improvement of mental health knowledge and support. When she isn’t looking at changing the world, she’s studying for her MSc in Psychology and learning how to play the saxophone (we won’t hurt your ears). 

Louise is a health and well-being coach within the NHS and is on the frontline of working with children and families. She is passionate about forging strong links and effective collaborative working between parents, schools, GPS and the NHS to ensure that we are offering opportunities for the best outcomes for children and young people. 

Emma Holmes
“Feed my belly, nourish my mental well-being

How do we optimise our mental health and well-being through nutrition?  We won’t just be covering the usual – eat better/feel better, we will be looking at the practicalities as to how it relates to children and young people, understanding how to help children & young people be fed, feel good & optimise their health. 

Chris Sheehan
“Forging Heroes from Ordinary Lives” 

Can we create fearless children? Join us as we explore the importance of being a lighthouse and not a tug boat, and consider the opportunities to build strong connections with children to positively impact their lives

Emma is a level 4 qualified Nutritional Coach who has a insatiable interest in supporting people to navigate their mindset and mental health through changing the way they think and behave when it comes to looking after themselves. Emma has a specialised interest in working with children and young people. Emma is a PACE trained practitioner who has worked within the legal care system and also worked with Looked After Children in a step down residential home. Emma has also hosted nutritional & cooking classes for children and young people to support their curiosity and knowledge around food. Emma is the mum of 2 teenagers and the husband of one hero (he works for the Fire & Rescue Service) has a disobedient dog called Polly and takes care of a cob called Billy. Recreationally Emma is an endurance athlete who loves running ridiculously long miles to negate her need to adult all the time.

From cliff edge to Fearless pledge. Chris is a Dad. A Rule Breaker. Leader of FEARLESS. A Youth mindset coach. And passionate about transforming the next generation. He focuses on helping kids live motivated, confident, happier and fulfilling lives. Chris is the owner of ‘Fearless’ based in West Sussex. He is dedicated to developing growth mindsets with children looking at fostering confidence, focus, motivation, resilience, regulation and happiness to unleash their hidden potential, running workshops and coaching in schools and one to one with children and young people. 

Stephen Kinsella
“Resilience and a Stronger Generation

Join us as we explore how we can support children and young people to increase their bounce back skills. Resilience underpins our well-being, mental health and outlook on life, how can we adapt to support young people to foster these vital skills to manage the adversity that appears in life.

Stephen Kinsella is a Youth Strength Coach Specialist. For the past decade he has helped to pioneer youth fitness in Ireland and UK. His Mission is to build a stronger generation. To build a Stronger generation we need to introduce our kids to adversity. Teaching them that life will (not can) be hard. How we process and deal with it is the key. Having a stronger body and mind is essential to thriving in the world. Build a generation of Resilient people will lead to a better world.
