Bio: I am a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Coach and a Parent Coach. In addition I have an extensive working background as a counsellor. I have worked in schools, the NHS, and run my own successful private practice. I have also volunteered at various non-profit organisations. I have lived in three different countries and have a wide experience of life, working with children, adolescents and parents with diverse backgrounds. I feel really passionately about providing support to young people, parents and professionals. My combined experience allows me to work in a unique and effective way by bringing together therapeutic skills and traditional coaching. Let’s be honest life is full of ups and downs. Bio: I am extremely passionate about child and family mental health and I am a qualified Mental Health Coach, providing coaching for the whole family, both parents and children. I am certified as a Level 5 Parent Coach and also have a Level 4 Diploma in Child & Adolescent Coaching. I am also the Founder and Director of Guiding Hearts & Minds, delivering outdoor Mental Health activities for the whole family, providing a safe space for parents and children to connect, spend time in nature together and explore their emotions in a healthy way, learning new strategies and coping mechanisms for their everyday lives. I also offer 1:1 coaching for children and parents in person at my office, online or at a local outdoor space. As your Coach, I also bring with me over 20 years’ experience as a Primary School Teacher mainly in Early Years classes, and today I am also an Early Years Teacher and Well-being coordinator in a local nursery. I attend regular coaching and wellbeing trainings to ensure that my knowledge remains relevant and up to date and so that I can support my coaching clients in the most successful ways. I strongly believe that if we encourage all children to talk about how they are feeling, and to understand that talking about emotions is important, then we are giving them skills for life.
