In this long course, we take a deep dive into Attachment exploring the physiology, psychology and contributing factors which affect children and adolescents.

- Understand the role of trauma and abuse on attachment development
- Be aware of the differing symptoms and presentations of attachments

- Know how attachments can present in education settings
- Understand the role of attachment in mental health vulnerability
- Recognise the impact of attachments on how we feel our feelings, stress and pain
Section 3:
- Recognise how attachment styles can affect our communication styles and friendships
- Be aware of how to support young people with attachment difficulties
- Be aware of a range of supports that children require
