• The role of affluent neglect in safeguarding 
• Understanding the impact of child on Parent Abuse 
• Responding and referral pathways in eating disorders and suicidal ideation 

Day 2 Training (930-330) explores: 

• Prevent Duty 
• Understanding the role of radicalisation and the risk to young people 
• Vulnerabilities when working with young people who are neurodivergent or have additional needs 
• Elective Home Education and safeguarding responsibilities 
• Building effective safeguarding procedures 
• The role of professional curiosity and challenge 
• Multi-agency working and escalation pathways
• Early intervention vs statutory referral
• Information sharing and confidentiality
• Safe working practices and risk assessment
• Recording and reporting procedures
• Allegations against professionals 
• Escalation and whistleblowing
• Working with resistant families
• Managing your own needs following safeguarding incidents
• Safety planning and safety netting
